As our business grows, we’re bringing the ads plan to even more members around the world. Starting in 2027, Netflix’s ads plan will expand to several new countries, including Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands and Belgium, giving members more plan options and advertisers more opportunities to reach our audience. We are looking for team members who will be instrumental in shaping this quickly evolving business area for Netflix, including a Senior Sales Partner in Germany to help shape our sales strategy for Netflix in Switzerland.
As the Senior Sales Partner, you will be responsible for helping lead the development and execution of the programmatic sales strategy for Switzerland.
The role will involve developing business with senior stakeholders at major agency holding groups and building key client relationships with C-level, VP, and Director contacts within those portfolios. You will be tasked with jointly driving Netflix Advertising opportunities with key Agency partners and Client leaders as well as internal teams (Account Management, among others).
You will be accountable for delivering revenue targets by leveraging Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings, working closely with our Measurement Leads to develop the best-in-class measurement solutions to meet our Clients’ needs. The role will also be a focal point for driving the necessary internal developments to ensure our success. Proven expertise in effectively working with cross-functional collaboration with Go-to-Market (GTM) and commercial teams will be crucial.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, an established network of relationships, and a track record of building new market relationships and delivering meaningful revenue growth.
This role will be working out of Germany, and relocation can be supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive strategic agency partnerships to achieve revenue targets and exceed client expectations for the Switzerland market.
Build, maintain and drive strong relationships with major Agency Holding groups and related Agencies to secure ad partnerships, drive agency deal making and revenue growth.
Help develop sales strategies and sales plans for the assigned Account portfolio and develop long-term relationships with key senior Clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of programmatic-driven advertising — “always on” — campaigns.
Leverage Netflix's unique audience insights and premium content offerings to drive revenue growth.
Monitor market trends, and competitor activity and identify opportunities for innovation.
We’re Looking for:
At least 10 years of experience in advertising or media (including sales) with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth, ideally in the Switzerland market
Proficiency in German and English to a business level is essential
Experience in digital advertising sales including programmatic (specifically PMP driven sales) is a must.
Deep understanding of the Media Agencies/Holding Companies and an established network of relationships at the senior level within them.
Entrepreneurial approach, with a track record of independently identifying opportunities, driving initiatives, and taking ownership of business outcomes.
Strong knowledge of marketing and communication objectives and pillars
Ability to move easily from strategic thinking to operational tasks
Strong analytical (strategic and creative) capabilities and judgment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross‐functionally.
Open to the challenge of starting a new business, comfortable with risk, uncertainty and ambiguity.
A degree of people management experience is preferable but not essential
