At Uber, we are reimagining the way the world moves. Our Advertising business is a key driver of this mission, connecting brands with our highly engaged audience across our mobility and delivery platforms. We are a fast-growing team looking for a systems expert to build the foundation for our next phase of growth. Ads Internal Tools & Systems team supports an enterprise advertising business spanning Managed Ads, Programmatic, Self-Serve, Sponsored Listings, and Endemic Advertising — and we're a fast-growing team looking for a systems expert to build the foundation for our next phase of growth.
The Senior Sales Ops Associate will own and scale the technology stack — Salesforce, Billing, Ad Server, and Reporting — that powers our Advertising sales team. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role: the systems and decisions you own directly feed the pipeline, renewal, and revenue metrics that Ads Leadership reviews regularly, and the projects on your roadmap are ones Leadership actively cares about.
You will be the primary owner of our sales systems end to end — from CRM to ad-serving, billing, and reporting. Your mission is to create a seamless, automated, and scalable systems environment that removes friction for sellers and ensures data integrity from the initial opportunity all the way through to final payment: the complete Lead-to-Cash (L2C) workflow.
What You'll Do- Manage and optimize the systems and processes supporting the complete L2C lifecycle — from opportunity creation through billing, campaign activation, and reporting — ensuring a seamless, trustworthy flow of data at every handoff
- Serve as the technical expert for our advertising billing and order management systems. Partner with Finance to ensure accurate invoicing, reconciliation against closed-won revenue, and clean handoffs between Salesforce and Billing
- Own day-to-day administration of Salesforce and its integrated tools — Billing, Ad Server, and Reporting. You're responsible for system configuration, automation, data integrity, and user support across all four
- Ensure campaigns activate reliably and on time once deals close, and that Ad Server status stays in sync with contract and billing state — preventing both activation delays and premature campaign launches
- Design and run a scalable request intake framework for cross-functional asks; identify and resolve systemic bottlenecks, particularly at the handoffs between sales, billing, and ad delivery
- Build and maintain reporting that gives Leadership trustworthy, real-time visibility into pipeline health, renewal risk, billing accuracy, and campaign delivery — directly supporting decisions Leadership cares about
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Finance, and Engineering leadership. Act as the central point of coordination, ensuring all teams are aligned on systems roadmap, timelines, and execution
- 5+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Systems, preferably within digital advertising or a high-growth tech environment
- Hands-on administrative experience with Salesforce (certification preferred) and its integrated tech stack; exposure to ad-serving platforms and billing/invoicing systems is a strong plus
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Strong SQL and data-analysis skills — comfortable diagnosing systemic issues directly from CRM, billing, ad server, and reporting data
- Proven experience managing a Lead-to-Cash process and its supporting systems; strong understanding of advertising sales workflows and billing/order management systems
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, homegrown billing platforms , programmatic ad servers (e.g., GAM), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker), Order Management Systems ( e.g., Boostr, Placement. IO)
- Prior experience as the “systems owner” bridging Sales Ops and Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to run an intake/prioritization process for competing stakeholder requests under limited engineering capacity
- You see Salesforce, Billing, Ad Server, and Reporting as one integrated platform with shared data contracts — not four disconnected tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills — you can build consensus and influence senior Leadership and field-level sellers alike, given the high visibility of this role
