Meet the team:
Dexcom is seeking a Sr Sales Operations Analyst to work closely with regional sales teams to provide analysis and insights to support the delivery of local business plans. The individual should be a self-starter and is comfortable working with large, complex and diverse data sets to provide actionable and insightful information to business partners.
Where you come in:

You will develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to track sales performance, revenue, and customer trends, providing comprehensive visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs). You will present reports, dashboards, insights, and findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to support sales leadership in making informed decisions.

You will utilize various data sources, including CRM systems, marketing platforms, and financial databases, to conduct in-depth analysis of sales team performance, territory segmentation, and product/service performance. You will identify trends, patterns, areas of success or improvement, and performance metrics to generate meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for sales leaders and key stakeholders.

You will administer and maintain the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity. You will implement enhancements and customizations to meet evolving business requirements. You will provide training and support to sales teams to optimize their usage of the CRM platform.

You will implement data quality controls and ensure data integrity to maintain accurate and reliable sales data. You will create and maintain detailed documentation of sales processes, policies, and procedures. You will collaborate and ensure that all relevant stakeholders have access to up-to-date information and guidelines to uphold data governance policies.

You will use data insights to identify growth opportunities, target customer segments, and optimize sales approaches. You will proactively identify enhancements to the sales coverage to enhance sales operating effectiveness and efficiencies.

You will collaborate with the Sales Training/Enablement team to develop data-driven training materials, sales tools, and resources for sales representatives. You will ensure that the sales team is equipped with the necessary data and analytics to enhance their performance. You will assist in onboarding new sales team members and provide ongoing support in leveraging sales tools and processes effectively.

You will collaborate with various departments, including – but not limited to – Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to understand business needs and align sales analytics initiatives with overall organizational goals.

You will support special projects designed to improve commercial performance and/or expand capabilities.

You will support initiatives that build and expand Dexcom’s Sales Operations capabilities.
What makes you successful:

You have proven experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.

Your proficiency in using analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is essential.

You are familiar with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva) and other sales-related software.

You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Your technical aptitude includes Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Your prior experience in the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.

You may have experience working with third-party medical data providers, e.g., IQVIA, GERS, or Binley’s.
