Work Location:) 100% Remote in Texas, New York, California and Massachusetts

What you will be doing:
Helen of Troy is seeking a strategic, results-driven, and inspiring leader to oversee our strategic vision for one of our prestige brands: Curlsmith. This role is pivotal in driving retail sales, increasing market share and setting the strategic framework for the brand across key partners including Ulta Beauty, Sephora, etc. (exact accounts may vary).
The ideal candidate combines creativity, solution-oriented thinking, and analytical expertise. You will lead with vision, challenge the status quo, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative strategies, compelling promotions, and elevated category performance. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate complex retail environments, manage multiple priorities, and drive results through disciplined execution and collaborative leadership.
Executes customer specific strategies which align with Sr. Director. They know the right customer specific questions to find the right solution. They're flexible reassessing the customers' needs and surfacing roadblocks.
Setting measurable goals and objectives to measure and track customer specific strategies defined by the Sr. Director. Be relentless in pursuing success. Identify Customer specific obstacles to success.
Responsible for sales forecasting and trade allowance management for specific accounts.
Provide strong business and financial acumen, especially in the areas of pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and utilizing a Profit and Loss statement, to drive sales and profits.
Negotiate pricing, terms, products, promotional dollars, and dates.
Review promotional effectiveness.
Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
Drive cross-functional alignment with internal teams and departments to implement and execute for customer needs sales plans, promotion plans, market meetings, etc.
Understanding the customer's processes, timelines, portals, and unique characteristics. Open-minded to consider all angles when planning for the needs of the customer. Revamping internal workflows to service customer's needs (forms, portals, line reviews).
Effective at understanding and using creativity to solve Customer related problems. Using research skills, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and decision-making skills. Using the BU as a resource to gather information/insights to solve hurdles & New Product Launches.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Strong understanding of the hair category and prestige beauty landscape.
Proven ability to manage customer relationships and drive profitable growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
4+ years of previous sales and sales management experience calling on major US retail accounts
4+ years of experience within prestige beauty or related industry
Retailer experience on Sephora
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

In California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York, the standard base pay range for this role is $111,537 - $139,421 annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
