ABOUT THE POSITION
The Sr. Sales Coordinator is responsible for order management tasks such as entering and modifying orders, including EDI transmissions and prAna dealer website orders. The Sr. Sales Coordinator responds to wholesale inquiries and assists customers and external sales representatives with product purchases and information including ATS reporting, open order management, return authorization creation, and credit issue research. This role interfaces with several departments and requires strong communication, collaborative and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are collaborative, approachable, and adept at managing multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Wholesale Account and Regional Support:
Process and manage orders, including EDI transmissions and prAna B2B orders, while ensuring supply chain compliance and verifying pricing, discounts, and terms prior to shipment.
Address customer inquiries, monitor open orders, and assist with product information, returns, credit issues, and invoicing in collaboration with prAna’s accounting department
Collaborate with internal and external sales representatives to support seasonal sales efforts and maintain strong account relationships; work with Sales Managers and Planning team for additional preseason or inventory chase opportunities
Complete various tasks such as data validation, pricing accuracy checks, and timely delivery of seasonal information while ensuring compliance with best practices
Sales Management/ Sales Rep Support
Work with Managers and Sales Representatives to assist our dealers in all aspects of their business as it pertains to prAna sales, including assistance at trade shows, sales meetings, and key account meetings
Prepare samples, merchandising assortments, reports, and other tools needed for productive meetings and line presentations
Reporting
Monitor and report on shipping progress including open orders, accounts/orders on hold, bulk orders, product availability, allocation, and provide ad hoc reports as requested.
Deliver user-friendly reports to external sales reps for improved communication, conduct inventory analysis for order fulfillment, and manage delayed orders in the order book.
YOU HAVE
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with EDI and related software
Strong understanding of sales processes, seasonal cycles, and wholesale operations (apparel industry preferred)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Experience in the outdoor industry and/or apparel business is a plus
ERP system experience is strongly preferred, familiarity with order entry and vendor setup processes
Ability to travel (occasional account-related travel 1–2 times annually)
