Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant work experience.

Work Experiences:

  • A minimum of 2 years, Sales Audit Accounting or Retail related work experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Experience utilizing ERP accounting systems, preferably Oracle Financials.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint working knowledge of Standard excel formulas.
  • Strong technical aptitude: ability to quickly learn and operate new systems efficiently.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with business teams.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while consistently meeting time sensitive deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to thoroughly research and analyze data.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to listen effectively and follow direction.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, and capable of working efficiently with minimum supervision.
  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit Store Sales within the Oracle Retail Sales Audit Module (ReSa).
  • Assist in Auditing Ecommerce Sales within the ReSa Module.
  • Partner with internal departments including Ecommerce, Customer Service, Information Technology (IT), and Loss Prevention (LP) regarding errors, trends, and issue resolution.
  • Analyze, research, and resolve transaction discrepancies and exceptions.
  • Compile Schedules and data for audits as requested by internal and external auditors.
  • Utilize Oracle Financials for preparation and uploading of month end close journal entries for necessary financial adjustments and monthly duties.
  • Support User acceptance testing for POS front end initiatives and enhancements to include Use case submission.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations for trends and anomalies.
  • Assist in monitoring and processing Ecom failed settlement Que to reduce customer impact.
  • Coordinate and aide in training efforts for new or contract Sales Audit team members.
  • Key Support for Sales Audit troubleshooting and store issues.
  • Partner with Merchant services to ensure timely submission and processing of failed funding.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Academy’s financial information.
  • Duties may change. Associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
