The Senior Revenue Accountant is the subject matter expert for depository revenue, commissions, and related inventory activity. This role owns the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of sales and returns reporting across SAP and our revenue processing platform (RAR). It requires strong analytical ability, confidence working across multiple systems, and the capability to independently navigate complex exceptions and reconciliation issues. The Senior Revenue Accountant acts as a key partner to Finance, Operations, and IT, providing clear insights, root-cause analysis, and actionable solutions.
What you’ll do here:
Ensure accurate reporting of depository sales and returns under US GAAP (ASC 606), including the calculation, preparation, and posting of complex commission and revenue entries.
Own the end-to-end depository revenue lifecycle, including cross-system traceability, exception analysis, and resolution across SAP, RAR, and depository statements. Proactively identify issues, document root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
Lead month-end close activities for depository revenue, including accruals, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting schedules. Partner with Finance and Accounting leadership to address questions and ensure completeness of reporting.
Perform and improve perpetual inventory reconciliation for depository locations, analyzing quantity and valuation differences and finding opportunities to strengthen controls and data integrity.
Serve as the primary liaison with SAP support teams, Operations, and Revenue Accounting on system issues and cross-functional questions. Provide subject matter expertise to support projects, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
Develop, refine, and maintain reporting models for sales, returns, commissions, and reconciliations using Excel, Power Query, and standardized templates. Ensure reporting is accurate, scalable, and audit ready.
Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to streamline reconciliations, strengthen controls, and increase transparency across systems.
Support internal and external audits through clear documentation, ownership of control procedures, and presentation of supporting evidence.
Build analytical models to identify trends, evaluate exceptions, and support operational and financial decision making.
Provide informal mentorship and guidance to junior team members, sharing guidelines and helping strengthen team capability.
Skills you will need here:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
5+ years of experience in revenue, inventory, or reconciliation‑focused accounting roles, with exposure to US GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606).
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and complex formula design. Experience with Power Query is preferred.
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA, with clear understanding of end-to-end transaction flow, data dependencies, and cross-system reconciliation.
Experience with accounting systems and reconciliation tools, including preparing and reviewing schedules for accuracy and completeness.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to identify exceptions, determine root cause, and recommend practical solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear explanations for Finance, Operations, IT, and senior leadership.
High attention to detail, strong ownership attitude, and ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
