The Senior Resource Manager, Creative & Content is responsible for leading the planning, execution, production oversight, and resource management of projects developed by the Creative & Content team across multiple channels and mediums. This role serves as a strategic partner to creative leadership, supply chain, finance, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.
The Senior Resource Manager drives operational excellence by optimizing workflows, managing vendor relationships, overseeing project budgets, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across creative production processes.
- Lead planning, resource allocation, project execution, and production oversight for Creative & Content initiatives across print, digital, video, environmental, and emerging media channels.
- Partner with Creative & Content leadership, Supply Chain, Finance, and internal business stakeholders to ensure efficient vendor selection, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and purchasing practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic goals and business objectives, proactively identifying risks, recommending solutions, and adjusting plans as needed.
- Develop, manage, track, and report project budgets, timelines, and resource utilization to ensure effective stewardship of organizational funds.
- Establish and communicate production specifications, expectations, timelines, and deliverables for internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to contracts, statements of work, purchase orders, invoice processing, vendor onboarding, and project documentation.
- Manage vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle, overseeing production quality, performance management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide consultation and guidance to internal teams regarding procurement processes, production requirements, vendor capabilities, and resource planning.
- Serve as the Creative & Content representative in RFP planning, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and selection processes, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and strategic partnerships.
- Analyze resource demand, project capacity, budget trends, and production metrics to inform decision-making and support department planning.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency, project visibility, stakeholder communication, and overall team effectiveness.
- Expertise in planning, staffing, managing, and overseeing creative production projects across multiple channels, with strong knowledge of print production and creative workflows.
- Experience utilizing project management, work management, and resource planning tools to manage priorities and workload distribution.
- Proven experience managing vendors and agency partners, including contract administration, procurement processes, purchase orders, invoicing, quality assurance, and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of sourcing and RFP processes, including vendor selection and negotiation.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience developing, managing, and reporting on project and production budgets.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
