As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will support large, mega, and not-for-profit plans with asset values between $250 and $500 million. You’ll act as the central point of business contact for assigned client “plan sponsor” relationships for both clients and internal personnel. The Sr. RM is accountable for assigned client relationships that include overall service delivery, evaluating, improving and managing client satisfaction and risk/retention efforts, and client P&L management.
 

What you will do:

  • Conduct client meetings, working with internal SMEs and the service team, to bring Empower’s best thinking to clients in the areas of plan design, funding, administration, participant communications, compliance, fiduciary governance, and industry trends.
  • Deliver periodic plan statistical, regulatory/legislative, and industry trending presentation to clients – both via phone and in person
  • Work with the client service team to develop, present to the client, and implement client business planning deliverables
  • Participate in new business final presentations and client site visits, building rapport with clients and managing client expectations, beginning with the sales process and continuing throughout the relationship 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Effectively communicate ideas/messages in a clear and succinct manner
  • Articulate Empower’s value proposition, participant and plan sponsor experience, and relationship management value proposition.
  • Share an understanding of capital markets and Empower proprietary investment management products and services
  • Plan for, negotiate, and effectively manage contract renewal process in timely manner

What you will bring:

  • FINRA 6 & 63 registrations required within corporate-established timelines
  • FINRA fingerprinting required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relationship management experience working with large, mega and/or NFP market clients
  • Understanding and being conversant on revenue and expense variables associated with client relationships
  • Understanding of investment management products and services
  • Strong communication skills

Base Salary Range

$138,000.00 - $200,100.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
