Senior Regional Marketing Associate — New Store Openings & Local Marketing - NJ, NY, CT 

About the Opportunity

Wonder’s Field Marketing team leads the launch of new stores, drives local brand awareness, and builds strong community connections that support long-term market growth. The Senior Regional Marketing Associate supports the strategy and execution of new store openings (NSOs) while driving ongoing local marketing initiatives that acquire new customers and strengthen Wonder’s presence within each market. 

This role combines strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will help develop localized marketing plans for store launches, conduct market research, and execute on-the-ground initiatives that introduce Wonder to new communities. Working closely with Brand Marketing and Operations, you will help ensure each new location launches successfully and continues to grow through effective local marketing and community engagement. 

 

The Impact You Will Make

  • New Store Openings (NSO) 

  • Support the Regional Marketing Manager in executing local marketing strategies for new store openings, from early market research through post-opening initiatives. 

  • Conduct market research and community outreach to identify local partners and organizations that support successful launches. 

  • Plan and execute grand opening activations, sampling programs, and community marketing initiatives. 

  • Travel to store openings when needed to support on-the-ground execution and engagement. 

  • Partner with brand marketing, operations, training, and culinary teams to coordinate store launches. 

  • Local Market Marketing & Campaigns 

  • Translate business objectives into localized marketing strategies that drive awareness, customer acquisition, and sales. 

  • Create and execute local marketing plans and tactics in partnership with the broader Marketing team. 

  • Evaluate campaign performance and optimize initiatives using data and insights. 

  • Community Partnerships & Field Marketing 

  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, residential buildings, fitness studios, hotels, and community organizations. 

  • Identify and execute partnerships, co-promotions, and community activations that expand brand reach. 

  • Represent Wonder at community events, sponsorships, and local activations. 

  • Plan and execute sampling programs, pop-ups, and grassroots outreach to drive customer acquisition. 

  • Marketing Operations & Reporting 

  • Manage promotional assets, marketing materials, and activation supplies. 

  • Coordinate with field marketing agencies or brand ambassadors when used to scale initiatives. 

  • Track budgets, campaign performance, and share insights to inform future strategy. 

 

What You Bring to The Table

  • 3 + years of experience in field marketing, brand activation, community marketing, partnerships, or related roles. 

  • Experience supporting new store openings or launch marketing initiatives preferred. 

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives. 

  • Experience collaborating across marketing, operations, and cross-functional teams. 

Skills & Attributes 

  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with internal teams and community partners. 

  • Comfortable balancing strategy development with hands-on field execution. 

  • Data-informed decision maker able to translate insights into marketing action. 

  • Highly organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Additional Requirements 

  • Must reside within the assigned market and travel locally for events and partnerships.

  • Reliable transportation required for field marketing activities. 

  • Ability to lift event materials (up to ~50 lbs) and support several hours of in-person activations. 

  • Authorized to work in the United States. 

 

Please note this role covers Northern NJ, Westchester and Connecticut

New Jersey $96,000 -$108,000 per year.
