We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Recruiting team. The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for a variety of roles across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop and oversee recruiting strategies for experienced professional and campus recruiting, and execute full cycle recruiting processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Talent Sourcing: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using a variety of channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to attract qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess technical skills, organizational fit and potential to succeed within the organization.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their team’s needs and provide consultation on recruitment strategies and market trends.
  • Employer Branding: Promote the company’s brand as an employer of choice by delivering a positive candidate experience, developing branding initiatives and engaging in opportunities to drive Gelber’s EVP.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights and ensure competitive recruitment practices.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Use data and metrics to analyze recruitment effectiveness, identify bottlenecks, optimize recruitment processes and adjust sourcing strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure that recruitment practices comply with all relevant labor laws and company policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree desired
  • Experience: 5-7 years of recruitment experience, with a proven track record of hiring for a wide range of positions.  Experience recruiting in proprietary trading, fintech, alternative investments or financial markets industries is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) recruitment software – experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn and Built-in desired. Strong knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques. Strong knowledge and proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership, direction and career development support to junior recruiter/coordinator staff.
