The Senior Recruiter, IT, will be a trusted advisor, creating and executing comprehensive sourcing and recruitment strategies for current and forecasted technical hiring needs. As a partner to IT leadership, the Senior Recruiter will drive the candidate selection process and leverage recruitment technologies and other candidate sources (e.g. Workday, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, social networking sites, etc.) to attract, select, and retain top IT talent. This role will support positions across Engineering, Infrastructure, IT Operations, Cyber Security, Product Management, and Data Analytics functions. Work includes sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates in consistent partnership with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers and Executive Stakeholders.
Location & Work Availability:
This position is Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote), based at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Full-Cycle Recruiting
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles, including intake, sourcing, interviewing, evaluation, offer negotiation, and onboarding support
Manage a diverse portfolio of requisitions across Engineering, Infrastructure, IT Operations, Cyber Security, Product Management, and Data Analytics functions from the Analyst to Director-level.
Develop and execute tailored recruiting strategies to meet IT organization hiring goals
Stakeholder Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to IT leaders, providing guidance on talent market trends, hiring strategies, and best practices
Facilitate intake meetings to define role requirements, success profiles, and interview plans
Drive alignment and accountability throughout the hiring process
Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pipelines
Proactively source and engage passive candidates using multiple channels (LinkedIn, networking, referrals, talent communities, etc.)
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles
Leverage data and market insights to identify and attract high-quality candidates
Candidate Experience
Deliver a high-touch, best-in-class candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance
Communicate effectively and consistently with candidates regarding status and expectations
Promote the employer brand and value proposition throughout the process
Process Excellence & Optimization
Ensure compliance with recruiting processes, policies, and employment regulations
Utilize ATS and recruiting tools to manage workflows, track activity, and report on metrics
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality of hire, and time-to-fill
Data & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics (e.g., pipeline health, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates)
Use insights to influence hiring decisions and improve outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven ability to manage multiple IT requisitions across various levels and specialties
Understanding of IT organizational structures, technical skill requirements, and professional certifications.
Strong sourcing skills and experience engaging passive candidates
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing hiring decisions
Proficiency in Workday or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting corporate/professional roles, ideally with a focus on technical recruiting
Experience supporting professional, managerial, and leadership-level IT searches in corporate environments.
Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field or combination of equivalent experience/education.
