JOB DESCRIPTION:
Location - Leça do Balio/Porto
Hybrid model: 4 days on-site / 1 day remote per week
OUR PURPOSE
You will be working in automated sample traceability for clinical laboratories. Our solutions streamline the pre-analytical phase—from sample collection to transport and reception—using smart devices like the with RFID and pioneers in SW. This automation reduces manual errors, improves efficiency, and ensures compliance with quality standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
Implement and execute end-to-end (E2E) tests, unit tests, and integration tests to ensure software reliability and performance in hardware and software.
Participates in the development or modification of validation packages and deliverables, including, assessments (including risk assessments, e.g., FMEAs), plans, requirements, and protocols.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to review requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical specifications.
Validate that software documentation and user manuals are accurate and synchronized with the implemented features.
Monitor and improve test processes, introducing tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
4 years of experience as a test engineer
Experience in software testing and quality assurance, with knowledge of manual and automated testing tools, SDLC, and basic programming.
Experience in testing frameworks
Hands-on experience in technical docummentation
Fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in XUnit or TUnit
Experience in CI/CD
Familiarity with the C# .NET ecosystem, including writing and maintaining automated tests within this environment, is a strong advantage.
