This is a high-impact leadership opportunity where you will drive quality excellence, lead Lean initiatives, and shape operational performance across multiple locations. You will play a key role in influencing culture, improving processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead regional Quality Assurance strategy and execution across multiple sites
- Drive Lean Management initiatives aligned with company objectives
- Foster a strong quality-first culture in partnership with site leadership
- Oversee compliance with ISO, AS, or TS standards, where applicable
- Participate in the Corporate Quality Improvement Board (CQIB)
- Report on the effectiveness of the regional Quality Assurance system
- Analyze customer and vendor claims, including trend reporting
- Lead Corrective/Preventative Action processes (CPAR)
- Conduct quarterly site visits for training, coaching, and alignment
- Coordinate internal and external Quality System audits
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners
- Partner with leadership to establish quality goals and performance metrics
- Support training and development in Quality, Lean, and Safety
- Lead or support Lean and Quality team members, including supervisory responsibilities as needed
- Hands-on role with regular presence on the warehouse floor
- Work performed around heavy industrial machinery
- Designated safety-sensitive role, requiring successful completion of pre-employment drug testing in accordance with applicable laws
- Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of Quality Assurance/Control experience
- Experience with TQM, ISO/QS 9000, and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Minimum 1 year of management experience
- Demonstrated strong safety mindset
- ASQ Certification
- ISO Lead Assessor Certification
- 10+ years of Quality experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Experience in strategic planning, leadership development, and team building
- Responsible for the Northwest Copper & Brass Sales Territory
- Travel requirements may fluctuate depending on business needs and training demands
