The Opportunity

The Sr. Quality Manager is responsible for leading the site’s quality function and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and company quality standards. This position oversees the development, implementation, and consistent application of quality policies, procedures, and work instructions across operations. The Quality Manager leads and develops the quality team, addresses quality issues, analyzes performance data, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This role partners with cross-functional teams and other factory Quality Managers to maintain effective quality management practices and ensure customer requirements and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

What you will do?

  • Collaborate with other factory QMs on new policy, procedure, and work instruction recommendations since they may affect others.

  • Manage ISO 9001 program, ensuring program achieves and remains IOS 9001 compliant.

  • Maintain consistent policies, procedures, work instructions (P/P/WI) across all operations.

  • Make recommendations for quality policies to the Quality Director.

  • Address issues to ensure quality standards are upheld.

  • Provide input on performance reviews and offer suggestions for improvement.

  • Facilitate the training and onboarding of new employees.

  • Monitor/Approve timecards for all members of their team.

  • Develop skills and abilities of direct reports.

  • Build a positive rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its core values, and other associates while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous management experience

  • Proven work experience in quality assurance or similar field.

  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.

  • Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills.

  • Understanding of the production and work order process.

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Lead by example to include strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, can do attitude, great attendance, and excellent quality & safety awareness.

  • A bachelor’s degree in related field; equivalent experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree.

  • Ability to gather and analyze data.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Commitment to the concept of continual improvement, effective quality management systems and safe work practices.

  • Physical fitness and strength to regularly lift 30-50 lbs.

  • Regularly required to stand, bend, crouch and reach.

  • Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.

  • May require travel up to 20%
