WellSky is hiring a Sr. Quality Engineer in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City metro to join our Human & Social Services Engineering team! This role combines a focus in software quality and testing as well as review and analysis of business requirements by ensuring adherence to quality standards and practices defined WellSky. This position is heavily involved in developing and executing a multifaceted testing approach including functional/system testing, automated testing, service level testing, end to end testing, and regression.
A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
- Design test plans, scenarios, code reviews and develop automated scripts based on business requirements
- Perform functional, application and regression, to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards
- Participate in end-to-end testing coordination
- Analyze system logs, Identify, and investigate issues found during testing, assist Software Engineers/PO’s in triage and impact analysis
- Analyze requirements and contribute actively to refinement sessions to ensure that requirements meet design specifications and standards
- Execute performance tests within Scrum Teams to ensure early detection of issues. Assist in troubleshooting and investigation of issues/concerns
- Enhance automation framework, create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
- Optimize performance of test execution through innovation
- Support UAT initiatives by providing data set up, access, and troubleshooting issues
- Offer technical direction and guidance to other development team members
- Analyze test results and work closely with developers to identify and address software defects
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested
Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 4-6 years related work experience
- Professional experience with .NET, C# and Angular
- Zephyr test integration
- Pipeline CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps
- Accessibility testing
- Cross-browser testing
- Load testing using JMeter

Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands on experience using Playwright testing framework
- Healthcare industry experience
- Basic understanding of HL7 standard
