Sr Quality Engineer

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Juarez, Chihuahua location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact product reliability and customer trust by implementing quality control measures, leading root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with Honeywell and industry quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor quality metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Participate in audits and ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Establishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures according to ISO9001 
• Maintain the ISO9001 Certification, host the external audits and lead the internal audits.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering roles within manufacturing environments.
• Advanced English.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards applicable to the industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

WE VALUE

• Certifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar are a plus.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience with quality improvement methodologies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Certification in ISO 9001, 
• Certification in AS 9100, 
• Lead Auditor Certification in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
