Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable test automation using Playwright/Typescript or Playwright/C#
Automate testing of REST APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations.
Validate JSON/XML, data flows, contracts, and asynchronous/event-driven workflows.
Validate Azure-based applications using Blob Storage, Application Insights, logs, etc.
Build automated functional, integration, contract, end-to-end, reliability, and API security coverage.
Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments.
Collaborate with developers to shift quality left across unit, component, API, contract, integration, and system testing.
Use Claude Code or equivalent AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test design, automation, debugging, and refactoring.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Playwright/Typescript or Playwright/C#, modern .NET.
Strong experience with REST API and microservices testing/automation.
Experience with Postman/Newman, HttpClient, RestSharp, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of JSON, XML, OOP, design principles, and architectural patterns.
Experience testing event-driven and asynchronous systems.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Application Insights.
Experience with Azure CI/CD, Docker, Git, and JIRA.
Experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants is desirable.
Skills Required
- 6-9 years of total experience testing enterprise software or products
- At least 4 years of test automation experience covering APIs, integrations, and UI
- Practical experience with AI, generative AI, prompt engineering, context design, models, and evaluation
- Experience automating REST or SOAP APIs and integrations using tools such as RestAssured, Postman, Swagger, Katalon, or JMeter
- Hands-on programming or scripting experience with Java and Python
- Knowledge of web services, web applications, and non-functional testing, including performance and scalability
- Experience with GitHub, test management tools, JIRA, and Confluence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with product and technical teams
- Experience working in CI/CD environments with SaaS and cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the retail or e-commerce domain, or knowledge of MDM/PIM
