At IAC Group, we are looking for a Senior APQP Quality Engineer responsible for leading Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to ensure successful product launches, meeting customer requirements, and driving quality excellence across manufacturing processes.
This role acts as the primary quality interface between customers, suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams, ensuring risk prevention, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead APQP activities to ensure successful launch of new products in compliance with customer and internal requirements.
- Coordinate and track all APQP deliverables, ensuring timely execution and risk mitigation.
- Lead PPAP preparation and drive approval with customers.
- Coordinate development and updates of Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Validate dimensional studies, capability studies, and MSA results prior to launch.
- Act as main interface with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Lead problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, root cause analysis).
- Monitor launch performance and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in APQP / Quality Engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience with OEMs (e.g., GM, Tesla) is highly desirable.
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of:
- APQP / PPAP processes
- IATF 16949 standards
- Core Tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA)
- Metrology and measurement systems
- Experience with:
- Statistical tools (MiniTab)
- Measurement software (Polyworks, desirable)
