The Senior Quality Control Engineer will ensure that products are designed, built, and produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements. This position is typically offered full time and reports to QA Lead. Those well-suited to this career enjoy problem-solving and working collaboratively with others.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Perform Tests: perform a variety of tests, such as, smoke, regression, integration, and performance, cross browser, cross platform and responsive testing (PC, mobile and tablet), API testing, and any needed test per the test plan to confirm the stability of software systems.
- Report Bugs: report clear bugs and track them using tools like DevOps.
- Perform Automation: generate automation scripts. They research and use tools with the goal of increasing automation.
- Work with Team Members: work collaboratively with QC, development, and business groups to complete testing.
- Design Test Case: Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases, and review test case written by joiners or mid-level
- Send test results report, after confirming it with QA lead.
- Documentation: Building project documentation such as user Manuals.

- Mentors and trains junior quality control engineers on policies and procedures and create tasks for them
- Identifies the root cause of quality problems, and coordinates modifications or other corrective actions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Architecting new automated test strategies and frameworks, in addition to creating, implementing and automating testing in support of software test requirements.

- execute and report on planned tests, report and manage defects, regress software fixes for new and existing products
- Assist development with replicating and debugging problems and develop new test automation solutions as needed.

.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline.
.5-7 years of experience in manual & automation testing
.Experience in JMeter Performance testing.
.Take responsibility for the quality of the product/feature, assess risks, and ensure all features with a high-quality bar.
.Implement and evolve QC processes to get effective test signals and scale testing efforts across all products.
.Design test scenarios for all testing phases based on customer requirements.
.Report bugs on the bug tracking tool and track all of them until closure.
.Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, and testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product.
.Report test results to different stakeholders.
.Participate in automation tasks.
.Participate in non-functional testing tasks (Performance, Security).
