Job Summary
This position plays a crucial role in identifying and addressing anomalies or irregularities within a company's data sets. This individual is responsible for monitoring data patterns, trends, and inconsistencies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information being analyzed. This person must possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail to quickly detect outliers that could potentially skew the results of data analysis. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with various departments to implement strategies for managing outliers and maintaining data quality standards across the organization.
In addition to identifying outliers, this person is also tasked with developing and implementing solutions to address discrepancies and improve data accuracy. This position requires a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical methods and ability to effectively manage large datasets. This person must possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally to implement solutions that enhance data quality and reliability. Overall, this role plays a critical part in ensuring that data-driven decisions are based on accurate and reliable information.
The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle and who has a passion for learning.
Responsibilities

  • Align call quality expectations with senior management
  • Generate reports based off raw data
  • Analyze data to detect any irregular patterns or discrepancies that may impact the overall performance or accuracy or the organization's operations
  • Identify outliers and address anomalies within a dataset or system
  • Discover root cause of outliers or anomalies
  • Develop and implement procedures for identifying and addressing outliers
  • Creates solutions, tracks and measures progress
  • Facilitate virtual or in-person meetings to present findings and execute solutions to internal and external partners
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations on outlier trends, resolution status, and improvement recommendations, share best practices
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Outlier Management, or relevant role
  • Technical proficiency must be able to use computers and generate reports
  • Ability to analyze data and create and review processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $77,112 - $126,684/ year. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in Texas is $54,621 - $89,735 / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
