Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer – Edison, NJ and unanticipated sites throughout US

Description: 

  • Design and develop quality assurance test strategies, end-to-end test solutions, test automation, metrics, and best practices to drive revenue, cost cutting and efficiency.
  • Work on all phases of Agile scrum methodology and support production deployment and successfully deliver projects into production.
  • Establish new testing projects from project inception, testing infrastructure, end-to-end and UAT testing implementation.
  • Test planning, estimation, allocation, scheduling and tracking of quality assurance activities.
  • Develop/manage test automation page object model framework for workflow of the application and implementation of Pytest framework for generating reports.
  • Implement continuous testing in CI-CD pipeline by integrating scripts developed in Selenium using source code in GitHub and running it via Jenkins once the build installation is completed.
  • Automate smoke checklist and regression suite in CI-CD pipeline of Azure DevOps.
  • Using Power BI report, prepare program level quality metrics and responsible for reporting the statistics to higher management.
  • Maintain Global Delivery Manual by creating and maintaining quality assurance standards across different projects across the firm.
  • Prepare skillset matrix for the entire testing team to assist in predicting availability of resources with specific skillsets.
  • Automate API test cases using Postman automation tool.
  • Identify vulnerabilities in applications by scanning the tools via Burp tool as part of cross-site testing of the application.
  • Create in-house table comparison tool to perform database comparison between engagements from enterprise level application.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Applications, Information Technology/Systems or Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering.
  • 1 year experience in job offered or 1 year experience as Software QA Engineer, Software QA Analyst, QA Lead or related occupation.
