Who we seek:
We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer for our Engineering team, reporting to the Team Lead. Our team is based in Chennai, and deals with large scale account activities. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for simulating large-scale environments, testing it and providing feedback on product quality.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced QA Engineer who has hands-on scripting experience and is passionate about high quality outcomes.
What you'll do:
- Define test strategies and design tests based on product requirements
- Design and develop scale testing scripts
- Conduct thorough testing
- Communicate findings and collaborate across teams
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Proficiency in creating scripts (using Python/JavaScript)
- Skilled in manual testing to ensure correctness and accuracy
- Experience communicating findings and collaborating across teams
- A passion for improving the overall quality of the product you test
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and lead projects
Advantages:
- High level of English
- Experience with data sources testing, such as Google Drive, S3, and OneDrive
- Experience using monitoring tools, like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Experience with cloud vendors such as: AWS, GCP, Azure
