Role Summary:

Picarro is seeking an exceptional Sr. QA Engineer for functional testing of Picarro Analyzers. This role expects you to analyze requirements, create and execute test-plan, and record results in test-repo. This person is also expected to contribute to automation.

You will:

Work with product owners and development team to understand requirement and create test-cases.
Work with managers to do risk assessment and create test-plans in test-tracking system.
Execute test cases, and file defect reports as needed. Work with developmen tteam to ensure timely turnarounds.
Create automation plan for past features.
Automate test cases and maintain test suites.

Must-have Qualifications:

5-9 years of experience in functional and manual testing, with hands-on expertise in writing test cases, and executing tests.
Experience in Linus/Windows and Embedded device testing.
Experience in one or more programming lanuages.
Familiarity with automation tools (like Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, etc.) and working knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Proficiency in using testing tools like JIRA test management and bug reporting.
Experience with API testing tools like Postman and SoapUI.
Understanding of database queries (SQL) for validating back-end data.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area.
