We are actively seeking a Sr. QA Engineer, SAP. This role is based in India, Hyderabad.

This Sr. QA Engineer - SAP Finance position is to be based out of our Rimini Street offices in Hyderabad, India and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of SAP financial systems through the design, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive testing processes across SAP FI-CO, with integration knowledge of SAP SD and MM processes.

This role involves working closely with finance business analysts and development teams to validate enhancements, changes, and new implementations in order to ensure alignment with governmental regulations and agreed functional specifications.

• Collaborate with the development team and business analyst to gather and interpret requirements and author the technical specifications.

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules based on the agreed upon technical specifications and acceptance criteria.

• Identify, document, and track defects, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

• Identify and create complex test data across FI-CO, SD and MM.

• Conduct regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP finance solutions.

• Prepare and maintain testing evidence documentation and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards in all test activities.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other QA members, supporting onboarding and skill development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in SAP FI-CO configuration

• Hands-on experience with table updates, document creation and master data maintenance in FI-CO, MM and SD.

• Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP system architecture.

• Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Excellent strategic and critical thinking abilities to aid with problem-solving.

• Willingness to be assertive; asking clarifying questions and providing valuable input to aid with Continuous Improvement.

• Strong English, conversational and written communication skills.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Experience with Tax & Regulatory reporting used in the EMEA region e.g. SAF-T / E-Invoicing.

• Experience working with an Agile approach including familiarity with Scrum Vs Kanban and Agile ceremonies.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks.

• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar.

• Knowledge of S/4HANA.
