Job Summary
As a Senior QA Engineer you will be deeply involved in every phase of the product development cycle defining, implementing and executing tests, manual and automated, report status, testing progress, and measuring performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- 6+ years of software quality testing with automation experience
- 3+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python
- Experience testing RESTful services
- Experience in UI/End-End Automation
- Experience Working on high quality software in an enterprise SaaS company on a public cloud (any of AWS/Azure/GCP), preferably in an enterprise SaaS company.
- Experience with observability tools (Splunk/New Relic/Datadog) in SaaS environments, Kubernetes, Docker Containers etc and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably in SaaS environments.
- Growth mindset - you pick up new technologies and tools easily, and you like working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to get your point across clearly.
Responsibilities:
- Author and automate test plans, test specification for the product features.
- Design and develop scripts to automate feature regressions and critical workflows.
- Drive tests and debug processes of multiple complex components of software technologies, systems, and applications.
- Work with various developers, product designers, and customer support engineers within the company to deliver defect fixes and enhancements that follow the overall product direction.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate defects and report them to a bug tracking database (such as JIRA).
- Test automation of web applications; experience with multiple automation test frameworks
- Languages – Python or similar scripting language
- OS (Linux – Ubutu, Redhat)
- Virtualization – ESXi, Virtualbox
Bonus Experience:
- Computer Security
- Performance testing,
- Prior experience testing of virtual appliances,
- Experience with AI assistants
