Sr. QA Analyst
Position Overview
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about quality assurance. As a Senior quality assurance (QA) Analyst you will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design manual test procedures. You will be liaising with the Developers, Product Managers, and BA’s to identify and test key features of our products. You will participate as part of a cross-functional Agile team and will advocate for and ensure quality for their team. You will coordinate best quality practices across other teams including offshore. You will lead and define transitions to embed quality practices within our new platform. And most importantly, you will be designing and developing Manual Test Cases for all layers of the solution (front and back end).
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop manual test scripts and test scenarios to verify requirements according to the established standards and best practices.
- Report , Assess and escalate issues based on severity.
- Play a critical role in all releases by conducting regression and sanity testing.
- Participate in the scrum process, including stands-ups and related activities.
Qualifications
- Proven success with both automated and manual testing tools and technologies with 5-8 years’ experience in Manual testing.
- Test experiences include planning, assessments, script development and maintenance.
- Strong experience taking part in sprints planning, estimations, and retrospectives.
- Experience in Quality Assurance principles, best practices, as well as developing test strategies, manual test plans and test cases.
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services and microservice architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation.
- Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven testing culture.
- Experience in Manual testing Web based applications, backend and API.
- Strong in validation content from XML, JSON databases and flat files.
- Strong API testing experience using Postman,or Rest API.
- The technologies we are looking for include some of the following
- BDD/SpecFlow/Gherkin
- C#/Java
- Cucumber
- CircleCI
- TDD
- TestNG
- Experience with Atlassian products and integrations (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Test Case Management tools (TestRail)
- Strong experience with payment device integration and transaction workflows, including Aurus, Adyen, and Tap to Pay solutions.
- Familiarity with POS systems, payment gateways, and contactless payment technologies.
