What is the Opportunity?
The Senior Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of enterprise software implementation and product development projects within the banking and financial services domain. This role is responsible for end-to-end project ownership, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards while effectively managing cross-functional teams, client stakeholders, risks, and governance. The ideal candidate will drive project execution, foster collaboration across global teams, and ensure successful customer outcomes through effective planning, communication, and leadership
What Will You Do?
• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple enterprise software implementation and product development projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations.
• Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, risk and issue management, change control, release planning, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients, Product Management, Engineering, QA, Architecture, and Delivery teams to drive successful project execution, resolve delivery challenges, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor project health through governance reviews, delivery metrics, financial tracking, and status reporting while proactively mitigating delivery risks and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Mentor project teams, promote delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and Agile best practices while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
Requirements
What Do You Need to Succeed?
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 12–16 years of experience in Software Project Management, with significant experience managing enterprise software implementation or product development projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional, and customer-facing software delivery programs.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, project governance, estimation techniques, and release management.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar platforms.
• Strong expertise in risk management, scope management, budgeting, resource planning, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent client-facing, leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing distributed and global delivery teams within fast-paced Agile environments.
Skills Required
