As a Project Manager in our Product Engineering team at our rapidly expanding production site in Prelouc (Czechia), you will oversee sustaining projects and manage change processes related to these projects
Responsibilities:
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, supply chain, regulatory, and OEM stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic program goals.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including resource planning, cost reduction opportunities, and contingency actions for technical challenges
- Prepare and monitor project plans, resources, milestones, costs, and deadlines with the PE team.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including re-validation and documentation for production readiness.
- Carrying out change procedures to ensure continuous production and support the product.
- Support in cross-site production transfers
- Provide clear and consistent communication to leadership and team members, ensuring transparency, accountability, and buy-in
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging PMP tools, Kaizen methodologies, and agile workflows
- Actively participate in innovation processes and contribute to the development of new solutions in minimally invasive medicine
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical or similar related field.
- 5 years of professional experience in managing complex, technical projects in medical device or regulated industries
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Waterfall, PMP, Kaizen)
- Basic knowledge in plastics engineering is an advantage
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Strong written and spoken English skills required; fluency in Czech required.
- Willingness to travel to Ludwigsstadt (Germany) or Berlin (Germany) and other Novanta locations (in the beginning up to 20 %)
