Position Description
Lead strategic projects across Prime Borkerage, Margin Financing, Securities Lending, Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance. Work closely with business and technology teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, from requirements gathering to production rollout.
The ideal candidate has strong Prime Brokerage and capital markets experience, combined with project management, business analysis, and hands-on technical skills, and is comfortable driving solution design, system integration, and cross-functional delivery.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of Prime Brokerage and Risk Management projects, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Partner with Front Office, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Technology stakeholders to define business requirements and deliver strategic solutions.
Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project execution.
Perform business analysis and contribute to solution architecture, system design, development, testing, and integration activities where required.
Collaborate with internal development teams and external vendors to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performance technology solutions.
Play a key role in the evolution of the firm's risk management platform, including trade capture, position management, P&L, exposure, margin, and risk analytics capabilities.
Enhance and extend the ACE Suite while ensuring seamless integration with front-to-back trading, risk, and operational systems.
Drive process optimization, automation, and the adoption of AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, development productivity, and user experience.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, governance standards, risk controls, and operational resilience objectives.
Support new business initiatives, product launches, market expansions, and client onboarding activities across the Prime Brokerage business.
Requirements
Degree in IT/Computer Science/Info Management, or Business-related discipline(s)
Around 15 years relevant experience from banking/finance with good understanding of securities trading and experience in technology project management
Knowledge of Cash Equities and Capital Market domain and must have worked in this domain as BA/PM for at least 5 years
Knowledge of the Trading System architecture & FIX protocol
Track record as problem solver: help all teams achieve their goals through coordination, communication, and adherence to process.
Commercially minded while taking a structured approach to getting things done.
Deep understanding of equities trading and the Global regulatory framework.
Understanding of complete trade flow within an investment bank, front-to-back office.
Proven track record facing off to senior stakeholders in the business and Technology
Strong communicator and independent in English, Chinese proficiency is a plus
Firm manager, yet congenial and good listener

Skills Required
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Management, or Business-related discipline
- ~15 years relevant banking/finance experience with securities trading and technology project management
- At least 5 years as BA/PM in Cash Equities and Capital Markets domain
- Knowledge of trading system architecture and FIX protocol
- Experience collecting requirements, producing BRDs, obtaining stakeholder sign-off
- Experience managing QA, Development, Infrastructure, Support, and coordinating project schedules
