Position Overview
As a Senior Project Engineer at Thermosystems, you will be a technical resource on a sales team putting together HVAC equipment selections, proposals, and submittals. You’ll work on a fast-paced applied sales team assisting mechanical design engineers and contractors in the design and execution of HVAC projects for new facilities, additions, and renovation projects. Thermosystems provides a comprehensive training program covering HVAC fundamentals and product specific training for new team members.

Responsibilities
- Generate accurate cost estimates and proposals for HVAC equipment and related systems
- Analyze plans, specifications, and other construction documentation to prepare proposals
- Assist the sales team with HVAC equipment selections for engineers and contractors in professional and timely manner
- Prepare technical documentation for equipment selections/submittals
- Learn and stay current on HVAC products and applications
- Develop relationships with application engineers, vendors, and customers
- Ability to collaborate in team-driven environment
- All other duties assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical engineering or related discipline) is required.
- 7+ years of experience in HVAC industry required.
The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $130,00 in Illinois. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
