The Role
As a member of the McKesson Executive Search team, the Sr. Project Coordinator is responsible for complex scheduling with senior leaders, our search activity reporting, and leading the hiring and onboarding steps in Workday. This position coordinates all aspects of the executive talent search process with other key stakeholders, such as compensation, HR Shared Services, Executive Assessments, etc. This individual will have high visibility with the most senior leadership executives and must possess strong communication skills, a track record of delivering best-in-class client experiences, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Deep expertise and continuous improvement within operations/administrative processes
- Coordinates interview scheduling, candidate travel and expenses, interview tracker maintenance, offer letters, and the new hire process, including background checks, relocation, and document management
- Manages the invoice and billing process in alignment with executive operations
- Supports the implementation and management of the ATS/CRM (applicant tracking system/client relationship management) tool
- Assists the Executive Search team with special projects, administrative, and operational tasks, including process improvement initiatives, preparing candidate status reports and weekly updates, updating the database, crafting data-driven stories, producing visualizations and PowerPoint presentations as needed
Recruitment Support
- Manages the executive talent database and candidate communications
- Identifies best practices for the Executive Search process with a focus on the candidate experience for continuous improvement
General
- Is comfortable handling details of a highly confidential and critical nature
- Maintains effective cross-functional partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers, HRBPs, and the executive recruiting team
- Possesses excellent relationship management skills
- Serves as a backup resource for other roles on the team as necessary
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of human resources, recruiting, or project coordinator experience and/or 8+ years of experience in a similar administrative role.
Critical Skills
- Previous project coordinator experience with an in-house executive recruitment function or executive search firm
- Advanced capability in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- The ability to manage processes end-to-end and own projects independently
- The ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization, both verbally and in written correspondence, and build strong, productive relationships
- Proven ability to take initiative and identify process improvement opportunities
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance.
- Demonstrates excellent judgment, discretion, and sensitivity when dealing with high profile executives, and confidential information
Preferred Skills
Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
