Summary:

In this role, you will partner across Spend Management Delivery, Contract Operations, Category Management, Digital, Legal, Analytics, Enablement and other business functions to improve operational performance through business process design, workflow automation, and business intelligence. You will serve as a bridge between business operations and technology, translating operational needs into scalable digital solutions that improve efficiency, standardize processes, increase visibility, and enable data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation, design, and continuous improvement of operational business processes.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements and partner with Digital teams to deliver scalable workflow, system, and technology enhancements.
  • Drive workflow automation and digital adoption using Microsoft Dynamics and related enterprise technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, and report out on executive dashboards, KPI metrics, and decision-support tools using Power BI, advanced Excel, Microsoft Dynamics, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Integrate and analyze data across multiple systems to automate recurring reporting, identify operational trends, and recommend opportunities to improve performance, visibility, and revenue.
  • Prepare and present metric trends, operational insights, project updates, and recommendations to VP-level leadership and other senior stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve contract lifecycle management and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with business leaders and clients to prioritize opportunities, align requirements, validate solutions, and support adoption of new capabilities.
  • Serve as the business owner for workflow and reporting capabilities supporting Spend Management, establishing governance and monitoring adoption and performance.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that strengthen processes, technology capabilities, and long-term sustainability.
  • Develop process documentation and partner with learning, training, and communication teams to support successful implementation and ongoing adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience with business process design, process improvement, workflow automation, or digital transformation.
  • Experience translating business requirements into scalable technology or workflow solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, or comparable enterprise workflow and business intelligence technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including the ability to manage complex data sets, build reporting models, create data connections, automate recurring reporting, and validate data accuracy.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines and dependencies, and influence outcomes across business and technology teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills, with experience preparing materials and presenting recommendations to VP-level leadership.
  • Experience with contract operations, Spend Management, or related

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
