The Program Analyst Sr. is responsible for the strategic coordination, execution, and oversight of critical government contract requirements. This role plays a vital part in ensuring all deliverables and key contract actions are executed in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner through rigorous planning, analysis, and evaluation of contract status. The Senior Analyst acts as a primary advisor to the government, managing essential administrative duties, tracking program objectives, ensuring quality control, and delivering monthly strategic assessments of overall contract management requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the execution of complex government contract requirements, ensuring all milestones are met on schedule.
- Actively plan, analyze, and evaluate contract status to ensure all technical deliverables and administrative actions are executed in a timely manner.
- Direct and perform contract administrative duties, including tracking objectives, maintaining official records, and managing performance timelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of contract performance, ensuring all contractor activities align with established performance work statements and agency standards.
- Author and deliver comprehensive monthly assessments to government leadership, detailing contract management requirements, risks, and performance trends.
- Partner with government program managers, contracting officers, and senior leaders to address contract variances, resolve issues, and streamline operational workflows.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The Program Analyst Sr. provides senior-level oversight, guidance, and direction to team members regarding contract administration, deliverable tracking, and quality assurance processes.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Relevant professional experience, specifically the performance of contract management and program analysis functions in support of a government agency, will be considered on a year-for-year basis in lieu of formal education.
- Extensive senior-level experience in federal program analysis or contract administration is highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), government contracting processes, and lifecycle contract management.
- Proven ability to monitor complex contract deliverables, administrative actions, and quality assurance metrics under tight deadlines.
- Advanced capability to evaluate overall contract status, identify administrative roadblocks, and compile structured monthly assessments for leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of successfully interfacing between government personnel and technical teams.
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage multi-faceted administrative requirements and ensure no contractual milestones are missed.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), FAC-C, or DAWIA certifications are advantageous but not required.
Security Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.
