Role & Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for data delivery and cache services, ensuring alignment with company goals and tech strategy.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and threats.

  • Manage investments, balancing incremental improvements with large-scale strategic goals.

Lifecycle & Delivery Management

  • Oversee the full lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, including upgrades and maintenance.

  • Lead development as the primary point of contact for scope elaboration, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and on-budget releases.

  • Produce technical documentation (MRDs, BRDs, FDDs) and functional specs for engineering teams.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as SME within Scrum teams: own feature scope, prioritize backlogs (product enhancements), and define acceptance criteria.

  • Engage stakeholders (customers, partners, senior management) to gather requirements and communicate progress.

  • Empower Sales/Delivery through technical support, demos, and internal training sessions.

Market Focus & Performance

  • Champion the customer by staying ahead of industry trends and driving customer-centric product decisions.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies to boost product adoption.

  • Track success via KPIs and data analysis to drive improvements, revenue, and cost-management while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 5-7 years in market-facing roles (customer/prospect engagement).

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Industry Expertise: Experience with carriers (FSC/LCC) or Travel Agencies; knowledge of travel tech trends (AI/ML, dynamic offers).

Product & Technical Skills

  • Tech-Savvy: Strong product background with the ability to bridge technology and business needs; capable of engaging Engineering on technical solutions.

  • Product Definition: Skilled in feature set definition, storytelling, and story mapping.

Professional Capabilities

  • Ownership & Strategy: Strategic/tactical mindset focused on measurable results and project resolution.

  • Communication: Fluent English speaker/writer; expert at presenting tech to large, diverse audiences.

  • Collaboration: Thrives in virtual, global teams and navigates multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities.

  • Organization: Self-organized, proficient in MS Office, and able to manage multiple projects in parallel.

Nice to Have

  • 5-7 years in Airline technology, Air Shopping, data delivery, or cache technologies.

  • Technical Plus: Familiarity with Java, C++, or SQL development processes.
