The Role
Manage end-to-end SKU lifecycle and master data governance to enable product commercialization. Serve as single operational point of contact for SKU requests, drive SLA-based closures across cross-functional teams, improve processes, provide training and documentation, and report status to stakeholders to reduce cycle time and ensure data quality.
Summary Generated by Built In

Product Operations is responsible for the development and commercialization of an offering portfolio by improving execution and governance of strategy and process. The Product Operations team works closely with Offering Managers and cross-functional departments, such as engineering/R&D, manufacturing/sourcing or software development, internal sales and field sales, marketing, as well as Honeywell senior executives to maximize the growth, development and return on investment in the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future.

One area of work that the Product Ops team partners closely with Offering Managers and cross-functional colleagues on is the creation, extension, phase out, and at times reactivation of SKUs – as well as other changes in material settings.

This role will fuel commercial execution in Honeywell’s global offering portfolio by facilitating end‑to‑end SKU Operations for product lifecycle management, enabling and executing SKU creation, extension, inactivation/phase‑out, and all governance of related master data and compliance dependencies. The role helps simplify the SKU process, provide visibility and guidance to the Offering Management community, and support Offering Managers more generally end to end.

Responsibilities
  • As a SKU Operations Specialist, you will facilitate end‑to‑end SKU lifecycle execution such as creation, extension and end-of-life/inactivations.
  • Serve as the operational SPOC for SKU requests from Offering Managers. Partner with MDM and cross‑functional action owners to drive timely completion of required steps.
  • Track, manage, and drive closure of open requests through structured SLA management and cross‑functional cadences; proactively remove blockers, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and escalate risks to meet committed timelines and operational targets.
  • Support governance and continuous improvement for SKU processes: identify recurring issues, propose simplifications, and help standardize workflow and templates.
  • Enable the community through training, office hours, and documentation to improve first‑time‑right submissions and reduce cycle time.
