We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome. And that's where you come in:

We're looking for a Senior Manager of Product Operations & Strategy to lead the systems that help Instructure's product organization move faster and smarter. You'll own board reporting, drive process automation across the organization, and manage the cross-functional projects that connect strategy to execution.

What you'll do:

  • Own board reporting. Build and manage the materials for quarterly and annual board updates, turning product performance and strategy into clear, decision-ready content for leadership.

  • Manage cross-functional projects. Run the operating cadence ot key strategic initatives, including standups, reviews, and cross-functional syncs, and keep projects on track and teams accountable to deadlines.

  • Manage process adherence tracking and continuously improve the tools, templates, and systems the product team relies on.

  • Manage contract and spend audits and annual planning for the product team's vendor contracts. Find consolidation opportunities, surface potential cost savings, and help product managers offset costs through changes to tools or approach.

  • Build business cases for new product investments. Size the market opportunity (TAM, SAM, SOM), frame the strategic rationale, and give leadership the data they need to make confident resource decisions.

  • Lead process automation. Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows, automation pipelines, and product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance models that cut manual work and speed up the product team's output.

This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibility.

What you'll need:

  • Five to ten years of experience in product operations, program or project management, strategy, management consulting, or a closely related field, including experience leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • A proven record of managing board-level or executive reporting. You've built materials for quarterly and annual financial and product performance updates.

  • Strong project management skills. You can run a team's operating cadence, keep cross-functional projects on schedule, and hold people accountable to deadlines.

  • Hands-on experience automating processes. You've built, configured, trained, and monitored adoption of processes enabled through agents and agentic workflows, not just run experiments.

  • Experience facilitating workshops with VP-level and senior leaders, driving decisions and building alignment in a room.

  • Strong design thinking skills. You know how to take a messy problem, run a structured process, and turn ambiguity into action.

Onsite Collaboration Requirement: This role requires working onsite on Tuesday and Wednesday, with Thursday strongly encouraged as part of our company’s in-person collaboration model.
