Job Description:

Job Overview

At Disney Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands—including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end Guest and Cast Member experience for all technology-led initiatives across all Disney Experiences lines of business.

This Senior Product Manager role sits within the Retail, Restaurant, and Supply Chain Technology organization. You will own digital products focused on the Restaurant business for Disney’s domestic theme parks - translating complex business and Guest needs into clear requirements, driving delivery alongside Engineering, and ensuring technology lands successfully in live park and retail environments. A defining aspect of this role is the end-to-end ownership it requires: from early discovery through delivery, and critically, through go-to-market planning and operational sustainment.

What You’ll Do

Product Ownership and Execution

  • Own and manage features or product areas within the restaurant technology portfolio.

  • Translate business and Guest needs into clear, actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Actively manage key phases of the product lifecycle, including discovery support, backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and release readiness.

  • Partner with Engineering to clarify scope, dependencies, and trade-offs, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

  • Support the development and maintenance of capability and feature roadmaps aligned to broader product strategy.

  • Monitor product performance metrics, analyze results, and recommend iterative improvements based on data and feedback.

  • Contribute to and lead proof-of-concept efforts (POCs) to validate assumptions, technical feasibility, and business value—including piloting in operational areas to assess real-world viability.

  • Drive operational adoption of launched technology capabilities—partnering with Operations, Training, and frontline Cast teams to ensure new products are successfully embedded into day-to-day park and retail workflows, monitoring adoption health, and resolving post-launch friction to protect the Guest and Cast experience.

  • Participate in change control and intake processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivery expectations.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Commercial Strategy, and Finance teams to maintain a prioritized backlog and delivery plan.

  • Gather and synthesize input from stakeholders, end users, analytics, and industry trends to inform product decisions.

  • Design and lead go-to-market plans for new product and feature launches—coordinating end-to-end readiness across Technology, Park Operations, Training, Commercial Strategy, and Communications. This includes defining phased rollout strategies, orchestrating Cast readiness and operational cutover planning, and ensuring Guest communication and experience quality from day one.

  • Communicate product updates, risks, and progress clearly through written documentation, presentations, and verbal updates.

  • Participate in product, program, and delivery ceremonies, providing status updates and recommendations as needed.

Team Contribution and Communication

  • Work collaboratively within the product management team, sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement.

  • Support other product managers and business partners through knowledge sharing and day-to-day collaboration.

  • Build strong working relationships across Technology and operational teams to enable effective delivery.

  • Champion AI adoption across the product and engineering team—identifying opportunities to embed AI tools into team workflows, advocating for new capabilities, and modeling best practices that accelerate delivery and collaboration.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years in digital or technology roles in the hospitality industry, with a track record of increasing responsibility.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing go-to-market plans for technology products.

  • Experience driving operational adoption and sustainment of technology in complex, high-volume environments.

  • Strong command of agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.).

  • Strong ability to break down complex strategic problems into clear requirements and deliverable increments.

  • Clear and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Experience working in a collaborative environment across Technology and operational departments.

  • Experience synthesizing complex or diverse project data and information to inform product decisions.

  • Passion for Guest and Cast Member experience, continuous learning, and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with restaurant technology platforms (e.g., point-of-sale systems, digital ordering, kitchen display systems, table/seat management, or reservation management).

  • Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Cowork) to accelerate technology delivery.

  • Experience working in GitHub or GitLab as part of a collaborative team workflow.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $135,200 to $181,200 per year.
