The Senior Product Marketing Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, product positioning, brand management, and customer engagement initiatives for the company’s product portfolio, with a strong emphasis on eCommerce. This role bridges the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure products meet market demands, are positioned competitively, and resonate with target audiences while maintaining consistent brand identity across all channels, particularly in the digital commerce space.

What You'll Do

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new products, features, and updates, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling product narratives that clearly communicate value propositions, differentiators, and key benefits to target audiences across different channels and buyer personas.
  • Brand Management: Ensure that all product marketing efforts align with the overall brand strategy, maintaining consistency in tone, messaging, and visual identity. Help shape and evolve the brand by positioning products in ways that strengthen brand equity and market perception.
  • eCommerce Experience: Leverage expertise in eCommerce to optimize digital marketing strategies, working with cross-functional teams to enhance product visibility, conversion rates, and customer experiences across online channels. This includes SEO optimization, product page enhancements, and improving customer reviews and ratings.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging eCommerce opportunities. Use insights to shape product roadmaps, refine digital marketing strategies, and enhance product visibility on eCommerce platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to align product development with market needs and ensure consistent messaging and brand representation throughout the customer journey.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the tools, training, and content necessary to communicate product value effectively. This includes creating sales decks, case studies, competitive analyses, and objection handling guides, all consistent with the overall brand voice.
  • Campaign Management: Partner with the marketing team to design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive product awareness, lead generation, and customer retention, ensuring brand integrity across all customer touchpoints.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Monitor the performance of product marketing initiatives through metrics such as conversion rates, online sales, product adoption, market share, brand perception, and customer feedback in eCommerce settings. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies for product and brand success in digital commerce.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, and eCommerce, with a proven track record of leading successful GTM strategies in a digital or eCommerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, market research, positioning, and messaging principles.
  • Experience optimizing product visibility, sales performance, and customer experience with Shopify direct-to-consumer channel.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with an ability to build and protect brand integrity across digital channels.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making in both traditional and digital commerce environments.
  • Proficiency in eCommerce tools, digital marketing automation platforms, CRM software, and data analysis.
