As Senior Product Manager you are responsible for optimizing the North American Microbio product portfolio, improving margin performance, reducing product costs through effective supply strategy, and partnering with sales and marketing to increase win rates to drive mix improvement.
Optimize regional product portfolio:
- Align product mix to enhance competitiveness, margins, and growth
- Lead product slate rationalization and define clear regional differentiation
- Maintain a fact-based view of competitors, incorporating regional market dynamics
- Guide marketing, pricing, and sales teams on product positioning and value propositions
- Establish product hierarchy, groupings, and naming conventions to support profitability
- Own and manage pricing strategy, including list and target prices
- Provide input on pricing for new products and advise on regional pricing strategy frameworks
Reduce product costs (in partnership with supply chain):
- Ensure products are manufactured at optimal plants and assets for efficiency
- Provide direction on product wheel management and manufacturing strategy
- Develop regional supply strategies for raw materials, feedstock, and finished goods
- Support procurement decisions to balance cost, quality, and reliability
- Manage relationships with critical third-party suppliers
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement, who execute day-to-day operations

Support sales and drive win rates:
- Contribute product and industry expertise to key deals, campaigns, and proposals
- Help position offerings effectively against competitors
- Coach sales and marketing teams on product strengths, weaknesses, and use cases
- Participate in high-value customer engagements to strengthen deal outcomes
- Support marketing-led efforts by advising on segment prioritization, product selection, and growth initiatives
- Guide new product development and commercialization in coordination with R&D
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or better in a technical field
- 3–5+ years of experience in the MB product line for which you would be responsible; exposure to the pricing process is necessary
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to apply analytical solutions to business problems
- Strong time management and cross-functional people management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate team members
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across multiple teams
- Financial and business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Executive presence and ability to influence
- Candidates with technical applications and sales experience are preferred
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
