Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute the product strategy for Visa Acceptance’s cloud transformation.
  • Lead cloud vendor evaluations and influence infrastructure architecture aligned with long-term business and technical goals.
  • Build a cloud-native platform that enables seamless onboarding and migration for downstream applications.
  • Partner with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environment.
  • Serve as a bridge between infrastructure and product teams, ensuring application teams have the tools and guidance to move to cloud effectively.
  • Establish clear KPIs, milestones, and communication plans to track progress across multiple workstreams.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 6-10 years of product management experience, ideally with infrastructure, cloud platforms, or developer platforms.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-scale platforms with strict availability and latency requirements.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), migration strategies, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrated success driving cross-functional initiatives across infrastructure, security, and application teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking — capable of balancing technical trade-offs with long- term vision.
  • Experience with vendor management and influencing technology decisions across large organizations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in matrixed, enterprise environments.
  • Prior experience with payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure is a strong plus

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 212,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
