Workday is looking for a Product Manager to help us provide a fabulous experience to our end users! Our team of experienced payroll product managers deliver new features, resolve product defects, and maintain compliance for Workday Payroll for the US.

About the Role

Join our innovative team in Chennai as a Product Manager, where you'll drive the evolution of our next-generation payroll solutions, leveraging the power of AI and cutting-edge technology. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of payroll, focusing on creating intelligent, user-centric experiences for our global customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth research and discovery to define and validate product requirements, with a focus on AI integration.

• Crafting detailed user stories and specifications that drive development.

• Prioritizing the product backlog using data-driven insights and strategic thinking.

• Collaborating closely with development and quality assurance teams to deliver iterative value.

• Championing the integration of AI capabilities to enhance payroll processes and user experience.

About You

We’re seeking a forward-thinking Product Manager in Chennai with a strong technical foundation and a passion for leveraging AI to solve complex problems.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related role within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.

• Proven experience working with Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

• Experience working with global teams is a plus.

Other Qualifications

• Strong interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications.

• Experience with data-driven product development and analysis.

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and SaaS products.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• A proactive learner with a passion for innovation.

• Experience with software development lifecycles.

• Certified Payroll Specialist is an added bonus.

• Previous payroll process experience is a bonus.
