Mr. Cooper is seeking a Senior Product Manager with demonstrated success improving conversion in digital mortgage origination experiences via online chat.   In this role you will be responsible for orchestrating and continually optimizing the overall digital originations chat journey on both web and mobile app platforms through collaboration across all impacted product teams and vendors.  Qualified candidates will have robust knowledge of the stages of the loan origination process, a thorough understanding of online sales & application funnels, and the tools used to evaluate their performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading requirement gathering with business and technical stakeholders focused on identifying goals and considerations rather than presumed solutions
  • Creating functional specifications, diagrams, and other documentation as required to communicate the full scope of work
  • Authoring Agile User Stories in the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) system
  • Collaborating with Creative teams to produce highly intuitive user experiences
  • Conducting Legal & Regulatory Compliance reviews and collaborating to achieve compliance when gaps are identified
  • Leading Agile rituals with product, design, development, & QA teams
  • Performing post release validation testing to ensure successful launches
  • Publishing release deliverables, blockers, and metrics for each sprint
  • Developing detailed reporting requirements capable of effectively measuring the performance of all enhancements
  • Analyzing customer account, engagement, and behavioral trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Preparing Pivot Tables & Graphs as needed to effectively communicate research findings & KPI attainment
  • Identifying and sharing insights and recommendation through presentations to the executive team
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap to company leaders, clients, and other stakeholders

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.  Master’s degree preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry is a must, particularly marketing, sales, and the loan origination process. 
  • 8-10+ years in a digital product management role leading cross-functional teams through the on time and on budget delivery of complex technology initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience in agile software development environments with business stakeholders, developers, QA testers, designers & copy writers
  • 5+ years analyzing data necessary to evaluate website performance, data integrity, and user engagement including ability to author and modify complex SQL queries
  • 5+ years of experience creating consumer facing digital products & features which simplify and automate complex workflows
  • 2+ years in a Tier 3 production support role with accountability for coordination across multiple technology teams to achieve issue resolution
  • Knowledge of Azure & VSTS a plus

  • You have an outstanding track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time
  • You are meticulous and detail-oriented and ensure that compliance and branding standards are met in every stage of the SDLC.
  • You are comfortable with loosely framed goals and enjoy completing the steps required to investigate associated opportunities, viability, and optimal path to value
  • You independently prioritize your work and manage to deadlines
  • You prioritize critical evaluation from diverse stakeholders to maximize the predictability of outcomes
  • You excel at creating consensus and producing high impact outcomes leading teams with diverse goals and skillsets
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can easily summarize both business and technology topics for executive leaders
  • You are passionate about the user experience

Position will require scheduling flexibility due to extensive collaboration with off

shore teams.
