WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced product management leader to manage the Data Center Solutions/Networking product portfolio, as well as leading and mentoring a team of product managers.

  • Work with the Director of Product Management to define and lead the execution of product roadmaps for our high-density liquid cooling and datacom cabinets and racks portfolio, in alignment with the company's strategic goals and customer needs.

  • Define and implement the product strategy, developing business cases for new products, features, opportunity sizing, revenue potential, and cost analysis.

  • Lead and mentor a product management team, including setting goals, providing guidance and feedback, and ensuring team members have the necessary resources and support to succeed.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop product requirements and specifications.

  • Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and ongoing management.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing, and positioning.

  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies to identify customer needs and potential opportunities

  • Handle product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, including product launches, product updates, and product retirements.

  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction, and make data-driven recommendations for product improvements and optimizations.

  • Focus on maintaining margins by driving pricing and appropriate adjustments while ensuring compliance to profitability objectives

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in product management or engineering, with experience in high density liquid cooling and networking datacom products preferred.

  • Work will require meeting with customers, suppliers, partners in the field and will include meetings after normal business hours. Role will require ~25% travel.

  • Experience leading and developing teams

Pay Transparency
 
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$123,500.00 - $229,500.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
