Job Description

We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Manager of Customer, Channel & Product Analytics to lead the vision, roadmap, and execution of analytics products focused on customer behavior, channel performance, and product optimization across omnichannel retail apparel business.

This high-impact role is central to our growth strategy, connecting insights across retail, eCommerce, digital, and marketing functions. You’ll lead the development of scalable analytics capabilities that help our teams make better, faster decisions — from campaign planning and personalization to merchandising and omnichannel engagement.

You will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data teams, and senior leadership to ensure we maximize the value of our data investments. This role excludes supply chain analytics and is focused fully on commercial growth levers.

WHat you'll get to do:

Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Define and lead the end-to-end analytics product strategy for customer, channel, and product insights, aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Champion a data-driven approach to customer-centric merchandising, marketing effectiveness, and omnichannel engagement.
  • Translate executive and business priorities into a clearly articulated, value-focused analytics roadmap.

Integrated Insight Enablement

  • Drive the integration of data across customer journeys, store & eCommerce performance, and product-level outcomes to uncover actionable growth opportunities.
  • Enable cross-channel measurement frameworks that reveal:
  • Customer value and segment dynamics
  • Product affinity and engagement by customer cohort
  • Channel influence on purchase behavior and conversion
  • Ensure KPIs, definitions, and taxonomies are consistent across dashboards, reporting, and models.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Partner closely with senior leaders in Marketing, CRM, Digital, Merchandising, and Retail Ops to define analytics needs, align priorities, and communicate results.
  • Translate complex business questions into technical requirements for BI, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
  • Serve as a thought partner to business leaders to embed insights into planning, promotions, personalization, and performance measurement.

Product Development & Delivery

  • Own delivery of self-service analytics products, performance dashboards, experimentation frameworks, and customer/product data marts.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams in agile-style sprints to build scalable tools and capabilities.
  • Manage backlog, prioritize features, and drive adoption across business functions.

Leadership & Team Management (optional based on org size)

  • Build and manage a small team of analytics product managers or insight leads (if applicable).
  • Mentor junior talent and help scale the analytics product function within the organization.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics product management, digital analytics, or customer insights roles, with at least 2–3 years at a Director level or equivalent.
  • Strong domain expertise in omnichannel retail, customer analytics, marketing performance, or merchandising analytics.
  • Proven success building and scaling analytics products that connect data across customer, channel, and product.
  • Deep understanding of data structures and KPIs for customer segmentation, LTV, churn, media attribution, and product engagement.
  • Fluency in tools such as SQL, Looker/Tableau, and comfort interfacing with modern data platforms (Snowflake, dbt, etc.).
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills — you can influence VP and C-level stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline.
  • Background in retail apparel or lifestyle brands with personalization, loyalty, or digital commerce components.
  • Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs), campaign measurement tools, or experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe Target).
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and responsible data use practices.
