Position Summary

Position Summary:
As a Senior Product Manager for Core TV Experience at Samsung TV Plus, you will drive the strategic product vision and execution for the service. This role will define product development for critical consumer-facing features that directly impact viewer engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines technical experience with strategic thinking, analytics experience, and cross-functional leadership to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the consumer experience and outcomes that advance the business objectives.

Samsung TV Plus is a premium global entertainment service and is the most used streaming app on Samsung Smart TVs. A leader in FAST, Samsung TV Plus offers hundreds of channels and thousands of shows and movies on-demand in the U.S. Globally, the streaming
service carries over 3,000 ad-supported linear channels in 30 countries and is accessible on over 630M active devices. Samsung TV Plus is the exclusive home of Conan O’Brien TV, Letterman TV, and hundreds of additional exclusive channels available worldwide. Samsung TV Plus is available on Samsung TVs, Galaxy devices, Samsung Smart Monitors, and Family Hub.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the end-to-end consumer product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring continuous optimization and growth.
  • Develop and execute a data-driven product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with business objectives, market trends, and user needs.
  • Leverage analytics, user behavior data, and competitive intelligence to identify key opportunities and shape product direction, demonstrating data fluency and the ability to conduct independent analysis.
  • Design, implement, and analyze experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize product performance.
  • Define, track, and analyze KPIs and OKRs to measure product success and inform strategic decisions.
  • Translate complex business challenges into clear, data-backed product requirements while balancing technical feasibility and business impact.
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with data science, engineering, design, marketing, and business teams to drive seamless execution.
  • Effectively communicate product strategy, insights, and data-driven guidance to senior leadership, influencing key business decisions.
  • Lead backlog prioritization and agile product development processes, ensuring that data insights drive prioritization and execution.
  • Conduct deep post-launch impact analysis to optimize future iterations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, evolving consumer behaviors, and advancements in data analytics to maintain a competitive edge.

Skills and Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong focus on consumer-facing streaming services.
  • Proven track record of leveraging data analytics to drive product decisions and business growth at scale.
  • Expertise in A/B testing methodologies, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and drive strategic decisions.
  • Deep knowledge of the streaming industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and user engagement strategies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for building innovative, consumer-centric products.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable ambiguous environments.
  • MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.

Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Los Angeles, CA, is expected to be between $160,000 ~ $200,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
