Dealerware is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager, Business Intelligence to lead a team of data engineers and partner closely with our Customer Success Analyst and Partnership team. You will establish our data pipelines, tools, and best practices that empower internal users as well as Automotive Dealers and OEMs with data to manage their fleets. This role reports to the Director of Product Management.
What You’ll Do:
- Data Strategy and Vision: Partner with the VP of Data & Platform Engineering to create and implement a data-informed mindset throughout the organization. You’ll work on a pricing & packaging strategy to monetize our data by turning raw data into actionable fleet insights.
- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data products (reporting, analytics, dashboards) and processes.
- Voice of the Customer: Deeply understand customer data needs through close coordination with internal stakeholders and keep your pulse on the market.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, customer success, partnerships, and sales teams.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Metrics and KPIs: Maintain the source of truth for all BI metrics in the org, ensuring all metrics are defined and readily accessible through internal BI tools and external products.
- Entrepreneur: Rally the organization around your data vision, inspiring both direct and indirect teams to join your cause. You are an adept negotiator who always looks for the win-win.

Required Qualifications:
- We don’t expect this person to be an expert in everything, but you should have the following abilities/attributes:
- 4+ years experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Intelligence Manager/Analyst, and/or Data Engineer
- Experience with Business Intelligence tool administration
- Familiarity with database and dashboard tools like Snowflake, Looker, ThoughtSpot, QuickSight, Tableau, etc.
- Skilled at defining and prioritizing data reporting and metrics development, you write killer user stories
- Deep experience and passion for data visualization
- Ability to collaborate well with engineers, customers, operations, and management
- Knowledge and understanding of data management, data governance, and data quality
- Adept in Agile frameworks and DevOps principles
- Comfortable extracting and manipulating data with SQL
Even better if you have:
- Passion for automotive fleet management, mobility, and/or personal transportation
- Experience with dealerships, dealer groups, OEMs, rental, subscription, ID/Insurance verification technologies, telematics
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business field
