About the team and the role:

The Product Knowledge team at eBay creates the platform that powers our buying and selling experiences by maximising disparate data sources and creating a high quality, scalable solutions. This is an opportunity for someone to work across our partner teams as well as with our Seller community and 3rd party developers. We come from many backgrounds and experiences which helps make eBay a diverse, dynamic and exciting place to work. You will have the opportunity of working directly with product and technology leaders in our headquarters as well as international counterparts to deliver impactful products on a global scale.

What you will accomplish:

  • You will be informed by the latest industry and competitor trends around e-commerce, articulate and evangelize the longer term product vision and strategy for our global catalog investment
  • Through meticulous planning and communications ensure an ongoing delivery of data-driven customer and business value features.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with local business, product, and technology leaders to ensure visibility and alignment around key priorities, turning points and integrations.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of key projects that span multiple teams across eBay
  • Be a champion for our customers

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Experience working on AI/ML products
  • Proven experience working with data science teams and solving complex algorithmic challenges
  • Technically savvy (prefer a technical role in past, or Computer Science Degree)
  • Flexible, hardworking, and self-directed; thrives in a constantly-evolving environment and is able to deliver results.
  • Experience working in global organization, with remote partners

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$149,200 - $234,850

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
