About the job:Own and lead product application strategy for Protection Semiconductor and related product lines, aligned with business growth priorities and customer roadmaps.
Serve as the product application expert for ecosystem-level use cases, enabling early customer design-in (including reference design) and influencing product requirements and roadmap decisions.
Partner closely with Product Management to translate application needs, customer feedback, and market trends into clear product definitions and development priorities.
Engage directly with key customers, supporting strategic opportunities, complex technical discussions, and long-term application roadmaps.
Form, lead and develop application engineers team and/or technical professionals, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and consistent execution.
Support Sales and FAE teams through technical training, application guidance, and participation in critical customer engagements.
Analyze market and application trends, competitive solutions, and emerging system architectures to inform go-to-market and product strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with R&D, Marketing, Operations, and regional teams to ensure successful execution and customer impact.
Perform other duties as assigned, with potential involvement in MARCOM activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in semiconductor, power electronics, or related technical domains.
Experience in product application, system engineering, FAE, or technical leadership roles; global responsibility is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to influence product roadmap and business decisions through technical insight.
Management experience leading engineers or technical professionals preferred.
Strong system-level technical understanding and application problem-solving capability.
Ability to translate customer and application needs into clear product and technical requirements.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity.
Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organization.
