Scripps Sports is seeking an experienced Sr. Producer to lead the planning, development, and execution of engaging daily sports programming. In this role, you will oversee all pre-production and day-of-show activities, collaborate with production leadership, and ensure high-quality content is delivered across multiple platforms. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Pre-Production

  • Oversee scheduling of segments with producers.

  • Manage show boards and production planning.

  • Partner with the Co-Executive Producer to stack and plan daily shows.

  • Communicate creative vision and timing requirements to producers.

  • Oversee scheduling of shoots, editing, and airing of content.

  • Support the Co-Executive Producer in overseeing all studio and talent stand-up elements related to assigned segments.

  • Oversee and produce elements of sweeps programming and weekend episodes.

  • Collaborate with other Senior Producers to manage content flow and build weekend shows.

Day-of-Show Responsibilities

  • Pitch and produce top-of-show elements for daily broadcasts.

  • Manage in-studio production elements related to talent stand-ups and show segments.

  • Oversee all morning voice-over and talent needs.

  • Conduct fact-checking and provide editorial oversight of the final product before feed.

  • Work with other Senior Producers to manage content flow and ensure seamless execution of daily programming.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience producing entertainment, sports, studio, or live television programming.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong editorial judgment and storytelling abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with producers, talent, editors, and production leadership.

  • Regular use of computers, production software, and video conferencing tools.
